We are pleased to introduce Mr. Raj Cherukonda as a Member of Board of the International Commission for Dalit Rights (ICDR) for the year 2016-2018.
Raj Cherukonda is the Chairman & Managing Director of Wyvil Systems Inc. (www.wyvilsystems.com. www.wyvilsystems-Canada.com), USA, India & Canada. He is a Cryogenic and Mechanical Engineer and had started his career as a Central Government Officer/ Production Engineer of Government of India. He had served Accenture Consulting as a Supply Chain Management practice Director and also served Deloitte Consulting as a Senior SAP Project manager.
Mr. Cherukonda is a leading social entrepreneur and philanthropist, also founded the Cherukonda Institute, a 501 (c ) 3 nonprofit organization to serve for people with disabilities since 2009 both in the US and India (www.sapkan.org). It is a certifying organization for US President’s Volunteer Service award medals (www.cherukonda.com). He has been regularly donating to his high school, Andhra Pradesh, India (http://www.aprstadikonda.org) along with many other organizations such as READ, SERD, BAMCEF, AANA, AIC, Be Educated, and the ICDR.
Mr. Cherukonda provides free job orientated IT/SAP skills training to immigrants and low-income communities in the USA and Schedule Caste/Tribes and Other Backward Communities in India. He has held a visiting professor position at DeVry University, Chicago, Keller School of Management, Schaumburg, St. Xavier University, DeVry University at Addison, and Benediction’s University College for women, DeVry Tinley Park, Albany Park Community center, Naperville Career center, Cherukonda Institute and SAPKAN a special Interest group for people with disability.
Mr. Cherukonda has given the interview in electronic and print media on the issue of Dalit Rights, Disability and self-reliant. He has served as President of Ambedkar Association of Northern America, and Director at Be Educated.
